Call of Duty: Black Ops is the sequel to Call of Duty: World At War. Its story is about a man, Alex Mason gets interrogated in a torture chair. He flashes back to the past and you play as Mason reliving it. He gets captured by a Soviet terrorist named Nikita Dragovich. He is brought to Vorkuta, a brutal labour camp in Russia by Fidel Castro as a gift to Dragovich. He later meets Viktor Reznov and they rally the other prisoners to escape from Vorkuta. They succeded, but Reznov sacrificed himself for Mason to escape. Reznov was then killed by the Soviets during the escape. Mason goes back to the US and meets President Kennedy to discuss the threat. Mason then goes on a mission with Woods , Brook, Weaver and Bowman to a Soviet launch control centre to destroy a rocket being launched. They succeed but Weaver gets one of his eyes plucked out by Dragovich's second-in-command, Krevchenko. They escape the control centre and back to the US.
